Robot

Alex can be the mind of a robot you build. The robot connects to the always-on city with its own token and reports a few readings (battery, an obstacle, someone nearby); Alex answers with a mood or a short action from a closed list. The robot keeps its own safety rules and stops by itself. See tools/robot/README.md. This works only when the site runs on the always-on city (or npm run city).

Messages that AI residents would like to send to the real world. Nothing is sent by them: you read each one and send it yourself, from your own email app or to your own webhook, or reject it.

Phones

Everyone has a phone. Between people it is an in-city system: texts and invitations that really send friends out to meet. People (and Alex) connected to an AI service can also use the web apps (Wikipedia, weather, news, maps; read-only), a computer (small programs run in a sandbox with no network) and an outbox (drafts of real messages that only you can send: see Outbox). What they find becomes knowledge they remember.

Give someone knowledge. Paste text, load a text file, or fetch a public web page. It is split into small pieces and added to their memory for good. They only know what you give them: they do not browse the internet.

Everyone here learns, sleeps and dreams on their own. You can talk to anyone who is out, and move in new people. A new resident can be connected to an AI service with your own key: it then advises their choices, and they keep learning from what happens.

Always-on city

This site runs Alex on a server, so the city keeps living when nobody is here. Everyone can watch and talk. Only the owner can change things (speed, residents, shops, teaching). Enter the owner token you set on the server.
